Bateaux Mouches on the Seine
This boat trip on the Seine is one of the essential activities that I recommend for your stay in Paris but preferably when it's sunny!
This activity is ideal for discovering, near or far, the mythical monuments of Paris such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, the National Assembly, Notre-Dame Cathedral...
Very often, the circuit, lasting about 1 hour, is as follows:
Located at the Alma Bridge, I recommend the company "Bateaux Mouches"; it will be happy to welcome you to make you visit Paris from a different angle. It has 6 pleasant barges and ensures regular departures (every 30-40 min) and daily from morning to evening. You can opt for a simple guided boat trip, a lunch, or even a romantic dinner on a night cruise to admire ParisByNight.
But who says tourist activity, said activity ... a little expensive! Indeed, for an adult it costs about 14 euros the excursion. You can also consult their different rates and book on their website: https://www.bateaux-mouches.fr
You must know that for any occasion (ex: wedding, birthday, baptism) you have the opportunity to privatize a barge! I have never tested the privatization of a “bateau mouche” so it's difficult to give you my opinion ... But, I think it can be an original idea if you have to celebrate a particular event. Your guests would be delighted to take a seat on a cruise on the Seine!
❗Be careful, for privatization, it is still necessary to have a well-filled wallet!
Little advice, in autumn and winter, dress warmly. It is more pleasant to go for a boat trip on the roof outside to have a better view of the wonderful monuments of Paris along the Seine. Also, your photos will be nicer than if you take them from the inside.
Have you ever tried the boat trip on the Seine? What were your impressions?
